JSWolf is clearly very upset by the inconsistency. I didn't get the impression that anyone else was much bothered one way or the other. While we know from past experience that some members really like having the stickies there.

To make it worth while upsetting some members, we'd need to be convinced that there were at least as many who were thought that changes must be made.

There's either too many or not enough.

I thought the idea of removing them and replacing them with a ToC stickie was what was decided. I don't get why it was decided to leave this very inconstant.

Right. It sounds like a fine option, but I don't care one way or the other. I generally use the find new posts feature every time I come here as opposed to visiting specific sub-forums one by one or anything like that so sticky or not sticky doesn't really change anything for me.

I agree with Jon. But since there seems to be an annual reevaluation by the mods regarding the board each December, I would be completely content to wait till Jan. 1 for any changes to be made.

I have no opinion one way or the other. I find the current structure very useful. I suspect I would also find any rearrangement very useful (once I got used to it).
