I have not read of 4.5.9587 draining batteries. So that bug has been fixed from what I've not read.

I had battery draining fast after 4.5. What fixed it for me was running the battery down then charging it overnight and restarting the reader. After that no more problems.

I did a factory reset, let it update again, and now it's fine.
