Shame about the CPU, if this was a dual core I'd be quite likely to buy it. This way it's going to have the same computational restrictions as my T68, so I can't really justify dropping a probably substantial amount of money on this.

Thanks very much for the spec sheet. Pity about the CPU and about the reader remaining on Android 4.x, but it does look like a good reader apart from that.

The screen is a great improvement. However, like the commenters before me, I am disappointed with the CPU and RAM. This means the device will continue to be unusable with all major note taking apps, such as Keep, OneNote, or Evernote.

I don't understand: it is said this device will weigh about 380 gr. ... and Sony's new DPT-RP1 weighs the same and it's a lot larger!!!

But probably also quite a bit more expensive (though it will be interesting to see how much the new onyx will be), and the Sony probably uses a plastic based mobius eink screen (correct me if I'm wrong), which is supposedly quite a bit lighter than the glass-based ones. Though I agree, would be nice to get the lighter and more robust displays on the smaller models as well to get them even lighter...

Ps: sorry just noticed that it seems the onyx is mobius based as well? In that case really a shame if they weigh as much as the larger Sony (or proof of Sony's engineering feats).
