My vote is for Book View only. If we can change the strikethrough button to use <del> in Code View, I would think that would be enough (I don't really care about <u>).

Actually... do we really need to even make it a pref setting for Book View? When it comes to WYSIWYG code generation, what's wrong with a "beggars can't be choosers" approach? It works: it's compliant.

I agree. BTW: CodeView already uses "del", I made that change the last time this issue was brought up.

Agreed, no real pref needed. We just add that one line in BookViewEditor in the right place, and we should be good to go. If you have a build ready, would you please just push that change, otherwise I will push it later tonight.
