I have had an iPhone since the iPhone 3s and I've had a Sony Reader since the PRS-500. So when I say an Apple charger does not work with a Sony Reader,I do know what I say. An Apple charger does not work with a 505. This is using a box standard USB cable that does not have any of the wires changed.

Pretty sure I'm using an old PSP charger. Any 5 volt that fits the plug should do.
