Although, it might be worth getting a third library card so I can keep using the ODLC; the regional libraries all allow you to get a membership from neighboring counties.
Definitely get the third card. I used to have a bunch of cards but now I only use four (King County, Seattle, Pierce County, Timberland). The smallest of the bunch is Timberland and I keep it because it is small. Although it doesn't have the selection that larger libraries have, for popular books I find I can frequently get them quicker because of shorter waitlists due to fewer users.

Hope your library does well on its own.

Me too. Multnomah is fairly good though so I am already happy with it even if Washington County doesn't turn out as well.

Do you know if Seattle or King County allow outside the area members? I make it up there several times a year for work and play (Go M's!) but haven't really tried to get a card.

Sorry, you're out of luck. Both have free reciprocal cards, but only for residents of western Washington.

King County doesn't have non-resident cards and Seattle's non-resident card is only for Washington residents who don't qualify for a reciprocal card.
