Looking at the reviews you may want to buy at amazon.de/... I mentioned above. Currently 4 or 5 stars - of course there may be fake reviews but at least there is no negative one. Other filters of this vendor also have quite good reviews except for usage on curved displays.
One should know two other Kindle owners interested in a filter as the bundle contains 3 filters which explains the 'high' price. |

Very little noticeable effect (tinting) of the visible light. iPads (pictured) are large, but not same size of a Kindle screen. Did you find any mention of a Kindle sized model? Note: Toughened glass will be next to impossible to cut. About all you can do is grind it down with a low speed glass grinder. |

That's because it's meant for LCD, not an eInk screen.

There is another screen protector.
https://www.amazon.cn/dp/B01IW0A8UQ/...6322490&sr=8-1 It is described as: Product material: products are used PET three layers of a stable quality of raw materials not shoddy; Product features: protect the film by UV treatment, to prevent ultraviolet damage to the screen; [film] 98% reflective reduced, light transmission rate of 90%, the film is not easy to have a bubble; [film]: 9H hardness, much higher than the ordinary film hardness of 3H, refused to screen scraping, testing shows that under normal conditions can be used to ensure that 3 years will not scratch; Last edited by Mr.Samuel; 02-05-2017 at 02:40 PM. |

29 Yen would be . . . . 0.26usd? Did I miss something, like maybe a decimal position? |

I thought this was interesting, when I was looking through the kindle system a few months ago, in case someone else hasn't seen:
Code:
/usr/bin/lipcd-scripts/lipc-props/displayTemperature.sh Code:
cat 'kdb get system/driver/DISPLAY/TEMPERATURE_FILE' Maybe the kindle itself 'knows' how blue/yellow, the temperature, the screen is. I only have one kindle to test this one and I don't have access to it right now, other wise I would post my value and seen if it is different to other people who try this |

That is the physical temperature, not the temperature of the light.
The Kindle needs the physical temperature to adjust the waveforms that drive the e-ink screen. |

Besides , the color of the kindle 's frontlight seems not adjustable. The color of front light is defined when the kindle was made.
When I use kindle in the cold weather, the reaction of the screen becomes slower. I think it is the process of adjusting the waveform. |
