Does the fastest SD card really matter? From what I read before (can't remember the articles now) you want a fast card if you are using a lot of video or are editing photos. But something low power like reading books, speed isn't essential.

Not especially, but it removes one bottleneck from the equation. And if all you did was spend a few quid extra to do so, it's worth it.

Some readers now come with eight gig. If they are going to move away from SD cards, I would like to see eight gig become standard. Even four gig would be okay, but the OS takes up room leaving less space free.

Nope! Bad experience! Order product from China thru Amazon 1. Took a Month to get to me in US! 2 Wrong Item! 3 When I finally got them to understand they offered to send me Correct item [another month to get to me] 4 When I went to send back the item PO wanted $12!!! $4 More than the price of the item!! They decide when I called them to let me have the correct item for Free & Not to return

I recently placed an order for something that came from China. Nothing wrong with it and it didn't take too too long to arrive.
I've not seen that case from a US seller. So your choice is to get that one or get a different one. |

This one IS for the Aura: kwmobile Flip Case for Kobo Aura Edition 1 Here;s more of those kwmobile covers: kwmobile Elegant synthetic leather case for the Kobo Aura Edition 1 |

I don't trust those Snap in styles. I got one for my Amazon Fire 10 & it kept falling out of the case! Lucky the 1st time it was over my bed. So sent that thing back! Not long after that Amazon stopped selling them.

I found these. They are actually made by Kobo: KOBO Classic Cover FOR KOBO AURA
However they don't show views of the inside. My official Kobo cover does snap in. But it's pretty solidly in there. Otherwise, I say take the gamble on the eBay case. At the very least it isn't too expensive. And it does look very nice. |
