Huh? The CTRL key is the one in the bottom left corner of the average keyboard...

Hold down CTRL while selecting forums to exclude in order to select more than one. Just like the instructions say.

CTRL+Click+Click+Click+Click+Click+Click...

No sign of the word 'click' in my CP->Edit options. Can't make it work via the keyboard (ctrl+space), can't be bothered with ctrl+click

Click as in click your mouse button... it is a fairly standard method of selecting something on an HTML webpage. And pretty much anywhere else. So why would it need to be spelled out in the options, just because I used that word to describe it?

If you can't be bothered, that's fine. You can do whatever you want. But it really is quite reasonably simple, so the site admins have done their due diligence. And you have made the decision that it isn't worth bothering about. Whatever floats your boat.

Due to disability (injury) I avoid mouse, and alternatives, think I've mentioned that before.
