Didn't the Onyx Boox Max review unit break down? So no review?

Looking at many variants of Onyx M96 and N96 it is 100%. Onyx will need to bring this much sooner. Look at Netronix successful Indigogo campaign. What I like about this campaign that M.Kozlowski showed that buyers (Universities, larger law firms, orchestras or choirs) can talk directly to Netronix and order around 60-100 units directly. |

@joblack, @nate, I have used the T68 and the i86 with a bluetooth keyboard for many hundreds of hours (though in fact not typing continuously, only occasionally - it was for document editing, not creation from scratch): I am still to change the first set of batteries on the keyboard. (BY THE WAY: there is a possibility that the current firmwares allow for more modes than "standard" and A2... I cannot check right now. They could be forced at least programmatically) About the secondary display - I plan to test with VNC, but before I do I am trying to solve the basic matter of having some software that forces screen refresh the right way. I am "halfway through it" (currently trying to get a responsive icon in the statusbar. Little time...). Fact is, you can surely replicate your screen, but if you cannot force refresh when needed you will get some effect, "messy" as per above, that only reductively could be called "ghosting". Amongst the ways to achieve that, I would do the same I do on my standard "Onyx tablet + Keyboard" setup: I call an instant refresh-forcer application through a keyboard shortcut such as [Command]+[R] ; the keyboard shortcut is created una tantum through the quicklaunch, or com.android.settings.quicklaunch.QuickLaunchSettin gs (sorry, I do not have the full command here).

I don't know. It simply stopped responding, and did not respond to a reboot (holding down the power button)

I arranged pick up of my sample from Nate and will replace his testing device with a new (final) version of Max soon. So don't worry, I guess he can test and review it as independent tester in very near future. There is also new software version with some fixes for it.

Those drop test are quite simple. Just let it fall several times from 1m and 1.5m to see how the housing will be affected by those falls. The floor was hardwood. Those tests are important to discover some weaknesses of the housing and if needed to make it more stable.
