Thanks for checking that. I just took screenshots in a book and also the list view on home page and now I am updating.
Sometimes I think I see something after a update that might not be there. Although I do know that bookerly got a bit darker with the initial update, the 5.7.2 one, I did notice that.

I believe the Bookerly font is darker than it was. That maybe what I am seeing with the screen being cleaner. I noticed it also on the PW2

Exiting a book on the first page now leaves the progress indicator at 0% instead of 100% is the only change I can see so far.

I believe the Bookerly font is darker than it was. That maybe what I am seeing with the screen being cleaner. I noticed it also on the PW2

Bookerly is not darker...no change at all. I took screen captures in 5.7.2.1 and 5.7.3.0 after updating (see below). I see no change looking at the screen itself nor in the screen captures. Pity too, as Bookerly looks really nice on my iPhone and iPad but sucks on my Voyage as it is too light. The over all screens look the same to me as well. I guess it was just wishful thinking to imagine some improvements, but no such luck.

On my H2O, Bookerly looks good because I am able to increase the weight.

I was just reading the comments about the latest update on Kboards and someone said it's purpose was to fix the increased battery drain after the last update or two. I have no idea what the source of that comment was but it's something to look at so I thought I'd pass it on. I haven't noticed any battery drain increase but I've been reading mostly on my phone lately so that doesn't mean a lot.

I read that one too. I have noticed a slight increase of battery drain with 5.7.2/5.7.2.1. I need a couple of cycles with 5.7.3 to know if anything changed on that front, although the slightly faster drain didn't really affect my usual charging cycles that much as I read a lot anyway.

I see no change with 5.7.3 from 5.6.2.1. on my Voyage. But I noticed bookerly getting darker going from what was it, 5.6 to 5.7.2

It would be nice on the Kindles too if they had a way to increase the weight. But Amazon has never cared about our wishes for better formatting. But it isn't that big a deal to me as I rarely read on my Voyage preferring to use my iPhone or iPad.

Well I read on my voyage all the time and I prefer it to my IPad. I will say that I only use Bookerly font and it looks really great to me.

I had noticed that my battery was draining faster after the the previous update. I sure open it is better now.

It might be. I'm not saying it is one way or the other, (haven't updated my PW3 yet,), but there is lots of room for improvement/changes to how the e-ink screen is redrawn that don't affect the screenshot captures in any way. (Any improvement to Bookerly between 5.6 series and 5.7 does not make any difference to screenshots whatsoever. And with Kindles Bookerly font, it's important to distinguish between pages drawn with a full page refresh vs pages drawn without. The edges of the typeface are rendered significantly darker on the partial refresh (ie, no black flash.)
