The selection of books in the unlimited category is better than I expected. I thought it would be mostly public domain and indies. However I've found quite a few bestsellers from bigger publishers. It will be quite easy for me to find books from Select and Unlimited if I use up my 3 book credits in a month. I should come out even with the new credit system based on my history using Oyster. Although I would have preferred 4 or 5 credits per month. |

Have you checked your account recently? I now have 9 credits. 3 from the 15th. 3 from one week later. And, 3 from my April subscription renewal. It looks like they did honor the 3 additional credits after all.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the unlimited selection too, I have quite eclectic tastes and have found quite a few things to keep me going. May keep the subscription longer than I thought. |

I've quit Kindle Unlimited, which did not have a good selection of books IMO, and I'm back on Scribd. There seem to be a lot of unlimited books, and the Scribd Selects look good too, and three in addition to that should be plenty.

Another pleasantly surprised subscriber here. I noticed that not only have they restored the romance titles that they culled a while back, but they also have added quite a few well-known romance authors rarely seen on Scribd before. Also, with some authors, you can pick up their omnibus collections as a way to stretch your credits. I'm keeping my subscription for now.
I do wish we could swap our audiobook credits for ebook ones, though, because I rarely listen to audiobooks. Last edited by briefcandles; 04-15-2016 at 11:03 AM. |

I initially thought I wouldn't use the audiobooks at Scribd since I have so many options through libraries. However I'm pleasantly surprised to find it so useful. I am using my audiobook credits to complete books on a reading challenge list that aren't available as ebooks anywhere or as audiobooks through my library.

I would like to be able to turn my audiobook credits into ebook credits, but no luck so far. I've been letting my husband listen to the audiobooks if he wants, as I just accumulated the credits (audiobooks take too long for me compared to a regular book, and I don't drive long distances anymore to make it worth it)

I am pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the books available through the monthly Scribd Selects. I've been reading two or three of the Scribd Selects books each month. Therefore I'm finding that credits for 3 books per month is sufficient for me.

And it was kind of fun to open Scribd on June 1 to see what the new Scribd Selects are. |
