Hopefully! Be on the lookout for the red Meet-Up thread labels. I'm thinking about another Georgia meeting in the spring, but someone else might plan one a little quicker than that in Alabama or Tennessee or Florida...you get the picture.

We're getting close to our SE region USA meet-up on the 25th of Oct. at the De Soto State park in Alabama. Check back at posts 13 & 21 for some specific directions/maps. We plan to have several devices with folks coming from Huntsville & Birmingham Alabama, Athens Georgia and Tunica Mississippi (at least).

It will be a lunch time eat. DixieGal has reserved a pavilion and will bring a big pot of chili to share. Slayda will bring ice & paper & plastic ware to share. We'll have cold cuts and veggies, so bring your own drinks, chips, bread, etc. or something to share and y'all come visit.

At least the following devices will be there;

Palm TX

Bring yours to show it off.

It's this coming Saturday - I'm excited! Slayda is bringing his equipment to show me how to slice,dice, and OCR pbooks. I already know what I want to put on the shelves when the books are cleared off, just waiting for the know-how to digitize them dusty old pbooks.

Come to the picnic area (see maps & T-shirt pix). Look for the MobileRead logo on a 8.5x11 sign or me in my MR T-shirt. I plan to get there around 10:30. DixieGal has a pavilion reserved. I'm not sure where it is exactly.
