Are they understanding what you are reading?
Note if you want to do something like the constitution, make sure they understand the before and after.

I hope I'm not posting too much, but what about: Horror Stories?

To make things interesting for the people I'm helping, I just spent all of last night trying to find some horror stories, but these horror stories all contain VERY sophisticated English and they're too hard to understand.

These are a couple examples of stories I've read and are too hard to understand:

It might have changed how Americans view things. I'm not convinced it changed human thought as a whole.

Sort of the opposite, but, Darwin's "On The Origin of Species"
Changes how humans except for Americans viewed things whereas the constitution changed things for only Americans.

Why not just buy something?

Go to Amazon (or Kobo or Apple) and take a look.

It's quite easy to type in those names.

I'm somewhat biased, but you may wish to just read some flash fiction stories, since you appear to be challenged with English. These 101 pieces represent some great reads.

Try this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Stories-Go-Ver...al-text&sr=1-1

And just for YOU - and for MILLIONS upon untold MILLIONS of other readers - the ebook is currently FREE!

How about them marbles, eh?

I second this nomination.
And before the OP asks, I can attest that this is a very good book.
There is something for everyone in it.

I have one question to OP... are you doing this for them, or are you doing this for yourself?

Thanks, but I'm looking for something free just so it's easier for us to read together. I checked this ebook, but it's not free anymore: http://www.amazon.com/Stories-Go-Ver...al-text&sr=1-1

I'm still trying to find some short horror stories for us to read together.

It still shows as free for me. Please link where it isn't. I need to share that info with the publisher.

It's just so much easier if it's free so we can both just click on a URL link.

I need the link so I can show Andrew.
When I clicked your original link it showed free for me.

Did you use the US link instead of the AU link?
Go to your country's link and it should be free for you.

I'm not cheap so it's not that I don't want to spend $1, it's just that it'd be much easier if the ebook had a URL so we could easily open it and read together.

This is the link that shows up as $0.93: http://www.amazon.com/Stories-Go-Ver...by+101+Authors
