I've been annoyed about Wal-Mart doing the deals Thanksgiving evening simply because we have Thanksgiving dinner, and I have to choose between dinner with family and friends, or go get some great deal.

I think it's a no-brainer which option I chose.

Other than that I don't really care. I just wish they'd start them late, late evening at the earliest so everyone has had a chance at Thanksgiving lunch/dinner/whenever-the-hell-they-ate-it already.

Two of my shopping tips apply here:
  • smart monkeys do their Black Friday shopping online
  • wear a football uniform if you plan on shopping at Walmart

Wow! That went fast. I was reading the comments over at AFTVnews and they were getting $20 refunds on their previous purchases. But when the price shot back up, the refunds stopped.
