I personally hope that the Voyage gets better. A more even screen. Better font selection, Bookerly can't be the best they can do. Physical buttons or at least a physical ridge where the sensor is. Forward buttons need to be higher. There is still a lot they can do even without giving us e-ink colour. I love my Voyage but I also like the Kobo Glo HD, it's font and margin selections are tempting. I have a H20 so I know what a kobo is like and whilst I love the Amazon Eco system the personalisations of the Kobo devices is tempting. My perfect ereader would have the Amazon eco system, the Amazon build quality and the Voyage form but with the kobo dynamic home screen and settings for font, margins and other device settings. Plus pocket of course, far more useful than Amazons Goodreads. Then add in the Fires text to speech as a wish list bonus. I dream of course Last edited by Josieb1; 09-14-2015 at 04:28 AM. |

Although quite a few people complain about the lack of options compared to Kobo readers, the plus side of that is only occasional firmware updates to add features, and very few, if any, bugs. There always seems to be another firmware update for Kobo readers, that fix some bugs and introduce others, and people who stick to an older firmware so as not to upset their settings after fiddling so much to get it just the way they want. I'd be happier if Amazon would increase the settings options just a little bit and leave it at that.

I have both a kobo and a kindle, I like both but both have good points and bad points.

A ton of kindle reviews mention how great the reader fits into their pocket, purse or how portable it is. I'm curious, other than for us, how popular a large format ereader would be.
