There's a 2005 article from the Washington Post entitled "Why Stevie can't spell", where the author, a self-described poor speller looked into it, and the researchers he talked to said that the brain functions seen with MRI scans of poor spellers appear to be related to classic dyslexia. I didn't look hard to see if there have been updates in the theories in the last decade, though.

I read in small breaks I have, 5-10 min, but I also read on weekends, when I do chores, go shopping etc

As you said, reading is a joy, not an addiction. It's just a form of entertainment for me. Same as video games I play.
