I have a different dilemma, a good one. I just started working in my dream location, a library. So I have access to a lot of books (and magazines and journals) for free and I don't have to even make a special trip to the Library to pick up or return.
I have found that large heavy books are cumbersome to read (and seem to actually get damaged just from the reading) and I am tempted to just buy them on the kindle rather than borrow for easier reading. So far I am being a cheapsk, err, thrifty consumer. My salary ain't that great but I am having a ball at my new job...(it's ok - I am an early retiree from another career). Slowhand |

If there is a Kindle edition available, I will go for that first. I haven’t figured in cost for any purchases as a deciding factor yet, but so far the Kindle has been a little cheaper or equal to the paper version.
