The magnets are there in the proper places to keep it closed and to trigger the sleep function. I just tested around the cover for the PW2 and there is a magnet under that little lip in the center on both the front and back of the cover, those are the magnets that keep it closed. Then there's another magnet on the cover in the lower right corner (looking at when it's closed), and that one activates the sleep function. The magnets are within the cover so you don't see any metal parts sticking out. You don't see any metal for the other covers for the sleep function, yet it always works.

I'll have mine by Monday and I can confirm it for you then if you like, but I'm certain the case will work the same way. It's not much protection if the cover won't stay closed.

I agree. I just don't see the magnets that keep it closed.

The SPARIN one doesn't have a bumpout either, but if you click on the Voyage version of their case it does have a bumpout for the magnets.

I just ordered this case. Very excited that Omoton has a Kobo Glo HD case. Omoton has easily been the best brand of cases that I owned for my Kindle. Based on the image, it looks to be the shell case which is exactly what I want.

The shell cases for my Kindles are perfect. Great magnet, super thin and light but well constructed design. The flap does not protrude over the edge.

I will give my impressions once I get it on Monday. I am excited that Omoton is making a case for the new Kobo since I was bummed that they only have made cases for Kindles. The only regret I had from switiching to Kobo was that I couldn't use a Omoton case.

Oh great! Now I need to convince myself that the existence of a nice Omoton rose red map case is not reason enough to buy another ereader that I don't need.

I just received my Glo HD and Kobo Glo HD case. I liked the case until I realized that the reset hole (for a paper clip) is not exposed - so I have to remove the reader from the case to use it? It is a hard-edge case and looks very difficult to remove the device without damage.

Am I missing something? Perhaps there is a good method for removing the device. One post above mentions a corner-by-corner approach. Is this the best way?
Thanks!

Just got one of these, not bad for real leather.

Glo HD clips in a treat, and sleep function works too.

I did not like the way the magnet was above the plastic, so I carefully filed it down without affecting closure/sleep in any way.

Makes me wonder why they leave it sticking up 3mm or so.

That's the one I am eyeing. Although I just got a nice red case (made for a Glo) so I am set. Disappointed that I can't find one in green, though! (I only like the snap in type of case, that doesn't cover the bezel). I would buy a green case if I could find one.

I know, Amazon sucks that way. I had that green case for my Aura, too! But no one is making it for the Glo or Glo HD. Red is good, though. Very easy to pick out from my stack of readers

Just got my Kobo Glow HD and am looking for a case.

Does anyone know, is the Omotion case soft leather? How does the Glow HD attach inside.

I've never had an official Kobo case for my Glo or Glo HD, but I'm pretty surprised that all after market cases I've ever bought all have had cutouts for all parts, and Kobo is the one who doesn't. When I was using a USB cable that had a quite fat plug that wouldn't go fully into the slot, I did use a Dremel rotary tool to file away a bit of the plastic on one case, maybe you could do something like that or drill a tiny hole in the case so you have access to the reset hole.

The cases can be difficult when removing the reader, just do one corner carefully at a time, pushing out and back and you should get one corner to pop out. Then once you get a 2nd corner off, it comes out easily.

I'd rather go for drilling the tiny hole though than having to remove the reader. Usually once it's in the case, it stays there.

Thanks, I'll be very careful and restart every week, so perhaps I won't need to reset it. I've only reset the Glo once or twice in the year I've used it. Both times was after many weeks of use without rebooting.

If I do, I will remove the device as you suggest and then see about widening the opening, or perhaps it will fit in the Glo case that I have? I wouldn't drill with the device inside. I won't put it back in without access. I just didn't check.

It's unbelievable! Otherwise the case is quite nice and it cost $30!
Does anyone else have this case? Perhaps I am missing something?

If you ever do remove the reader from the case if you have to reset it, then is when I would drill the hole in the case. Don't even think of doing it or even filing a larger opening while the reader is inside the case.

I just received this Omoton cover and it fits well. Snug but not real tight. Cover closes completely with no gaps. No dust will get in with it closed. Cut outs for the power button, USB and reset button. Opening cover does wake the device up.

Cover is quite thin so I wouldn't place it in precarious locations and keep it away from hammers and other heavy objects.
