A typical book takes up very little room, that's why one can get hundreds, if not thousands, of ebooks on a reader.

For example, Harry's edition of the J.G. Reeder Omnibus, by Edgar Wallace, consisting of 7 novels and having 1744 pages, is only 802 KB in size. Admittedly, these are shorter novels compared to some current bestsellers. [I can't remember if this actually translates into half that number when converting Amazon numbers to the 'actual' page count.]

Size varies, of course, depending upon the number of pages, and whether or not there may be illustrations, etc.
