I still use my BeBook Mini, it was my first e-ink device and from the looks of it, it'll outlive all of my devices... It might not be the smallest of the bunch, but it just feels sturdy! So, it goes with me wherever I go.

I still have my Sony 350 & have no plans parting with it. To me it's perfect.

I've only owned the Astak and the Opus. I preferred the Astak/Hanlin hardware, but hated the quality of the software and returned it. Like the Opus software well enough, although Bookeen never came through on all they said they would, but find the hardware just okay.

I started with the Aztek, and I adored it. It finally got so that the battery wouldn't even last a day, I used it so much.
I have a Kobo Mini, after I modded it with a bigger internal card, it's ok. The touch screen is really iffy though. I really wish that the Hanlin site wasn't blocked in the US now. I love that they're a nice file directory system, and I miss the physical page turn buttons. Give me a backlit version of the Aztek reader and I'd be in love. (And I think I must be the only one here that doesn't use dictionaries. Both of the Kobo's that I've had, and my Nook STR all randomly pop up the dictionary while I'm reading for no reason...) |

I believe the Astak EZ Reader Pocket Pro had a user replacable battery, didn't it? (I gave mine away about 2 years ago and can't remember.)
If so, why not just replace the battery and toss the Kobo mini in the trash? I agree with you that the turn wheel (to turn pages) on the Astak EZ Reader Pocket Pro was great. |

The Hanvon 518 was my first e-reader. The screen was quite grey and the touchscreen responsiveness very sketchy. Very portable, though, and I read a lot on it before I got a (6") Onyx i62HD and never touched the Hanvon again.
And I can't imagine ever using a 5" reader again. I was slightly tempted by the lightness of the 6" Aura, but I don't think I could get used to anything smaller than the HD anymore. |

+1 for Sony PRS-350!
Originally I had PRS-505 & PRS-300. We still have that 505, but replaced 300 with PRS-350 for a touch screen and a bit smaller size. I like it so much that I have a 2nd 350 as a backup. Sony PRS-350 is just about perfect for me. |

I must have confused that with my Pocketbook 360. It came with a little tool (or screwdriver). My 360 is gathering dust. |

No you didn't confuse nothing. It was the hanlin having the screwdriver
![]() But as sweetpea says the problem is to actually get a replacement battery for it. While the 6ers use a Nokia batt. the 5ers don't so it means "happy hunting" |

Thank you for the clarification on that. ![]() I gave my EZ Reader Pocket Pro to my cousin last year. It still worked fine (and hadn't been used all that much, after I bought my PW2.), and the battery seemed fine as well. ....so, when the battery starts to go, the reader may end up being a novelty item, unfortunately. |
