Some Best Buys have Voyages for pickup - Page 3

When items are as scarce as these (ie just out) who can spare a model to put on a display table?? I'd think enough people will come in wanting one, that they can't spare any to be touched and degraded and later sold as a floor model. Soon, but not right away, there will be displays.

Unless something has changed, I don't think the Kindle display models are standard models. Are they?

I think they're the same unit, but they go into "demo mode" when no one is using them. Different software, I think. (At least that's the way it used to be.)

The places I've seen them they are demo-only units with minimal function. Not sure about BB. Don't think I've ever looked at one there.
