what's wrong with jeans?
I have a moto g [4.something size] with otterbox case and it fits just fine in my front pocket of my jeans. And I'm a pretty small guy AND I'm active for work. Safe, secure and warmed by me in the cold weather. I have found that big cargo pockets catch on things when I'm in the woods... |

I actually stopped wearing makeup because it's too humid and it just melts off within a good 10 min. Phone and ereader go in my purse at all times. So... easy for me. The husband always keeps his phone in his pockets. I think he does front pockets, not back though. He doesn't wear the super tight skinny jeans that are in style right now though. |

Blue jeans (everyday carry) - flip phone in left front pocket and Sansa Clip Zip in right coin pocket. A tablet (Nexus 4 or Nexus 7) is a sometimes carry. But now that the rainy season is here, I'll be wearing a coat; and that means I have room to carry a tablet most of the time. I suspect it'll be the Nexus 4.

I wear 'Dickies' brand denim pants/shorts. They have a Cell phone pocket on the side of the upper leg. Works great, you don't sit on it or crunch it if in the front pocket.

I've always have big shoulder bags, but since I've had an iPad they need to be even bigger. I mostly use messenger bags. I don't like to have heavy things in my pockets, and anyway that's rarely an option since women's clothes rarely have usable pockets. At least the kind I wear.

I bought a jacket recently from a company called White Stuff. I only saw it on their website and it showed inside pockets (which is where I like to put my phone/e-reader/tablet). When it arrived, it turns out that the inside pockets have one bottom corner missing, leaving a hole big enough for a phone to fall through! Why would they do that? I mean, why specify a pocket and then make it unusable for lots of things that people might want to put in it?

I never carry a purse/bag either so I end up swapping my phone between pockets depending on what I am doing and/or wearing. Usually in the front pocket of my jeans and I've compromise by buying a tiny leather purse for my cash. So far so good, my phone hasn't bent yet!

Mother of Ned, what's happened to mobile devices in the past few weeks? I haven't had to worry about crinkling my precious OnePlus One. It seems to have survived my back pocket without bends or scrapes for months, and its only protection is a glass screen protector and a Diztronic TPU case.
If thin is in, then undurable is incurable. They're going to have to develop a metal or plastic enclosure that won't succumb to travelers' contortions. I own so many manbags I'm hardly a man any more, but none of them are perfect for a phone that has to be grabbed in a throbbing second when money or blood is involved (but enough about my sex life). |

It will also fit into most windbreaker pockets. I plan to keep it alive as long as possible for its portability. |

All I have is a small tracphone and my PaperWhite neither of which bends very easily. And both fit in a pants pocket.

I came across these shirts/pants while researching the next Sedona book. Oddly enough, I was actually researching which car Huntington will drive--the Tesla or I think it was the new BMW electric car (obviously I need to do more research. There was a hydrogen cell I looked at too).
Anyway, these are SUPER COOL and Sedona will probably wear one. I will not because they don't have blue ones and they aren't cheap!!! http://www.scottevest.com/v3_store/Cotton_Tshirt.shtml Last edited by WT Sharpe; 09-26-2014 at 10:47 AM. Reason: OPPS! Meant to quote. |
