Is new PW imminent?

The PW2 was announced a year ago, on September 3rd. No announcement this year. Sad panda, world's smallest violin, etc. If we don't hear anything about it by the end of the week then it's safe to say that this year is a dud. Too bad.

Interesting...right now I'm seeing that although the $69 Kindle 4 with ads is out of stock, but they still have the Kindle 4 without ads in stock for $89. It seems to me like these would actually be the same unit since Amazon can just flip a switch to send ads to your device or not.

The PW2 was a surprise when it came out. There was no event announcing it's release. It just showed up on the site for sale one day and that's how people were made aware that it was out. We'll see what happens this year.

Stop that! They know lots of things! Like, they know that since Amazon stopped selling the Basic Kindle and discounted the KPW, that must mean there will be a new Kindle this year. That was totally non-intuitive!

And here we all were, thinking Amazon has to produce a new ereader for the coming holiday season, because they always do. (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013)
And even when it was in May, for example, it was always at least about once a year.

But we couldn't be more wrong, as Goodereader has now discovered the real reason. What would we ever do without them?

Also, the groundbreaking news that the new Kindle will have a higher resolution. And a new font.

And the Ice Wine rumor of light sensors is back again. Thanks Goodereader for remembering the rumor. We almost forgot the solid proof backing it up.

And it took me totally by surprise that the vanished Basic Kindle means that Amazon finally decided to put in a touchscreen. Could'a never called that one on my own.
Also, Nate did NOT notice this the previous day and come to a different conclusion, which is far more convincing.

No, it isn´t a joke.

I understood that amazon was creating a new link for a future new paperwhite and the paperwhite2 was out of stock.

My english is very poor and I think that not understand enough that link.

No worries I wasn't jeering you, in fact, I appreciated the link. But I think the evidence argument of the people on that site is ridiculous.
