mantano update:
good news: I'd emailed mantano some weeks back about the amazon store version being outdated. they got back to me yesterday saying that had uploaded 2.5.1.7 to amazon app store, and it should appear any day now. it is not there yet in my Uk store though. bad news: there seems to be a previous page bug; i found it in the sideloaded version I currently have on Kindle, but I find it also on my google tablet so it's not kindle specific or version specific. simply open a book, go forward a few pages then go back 3 times via previous page. the 3rd instance of "previous page" brings up the wrong text ( it sis 2 pages out). continue to zip zag back & forth & it persists, with every 3rd page back seemingly the trigger. I have uninstalled + reinstalled app, with no joy & I can make it happen at will in any book. NB you do have go page forward x 3 , then back., if you simple open a previous book and only page pack then it does not trigger, it must be some screen buffering issue . could someone else please test this |

Hmm, maybe I'm the only mantano reader + kindle fire user here, or maybe I need a new thread...
Anyway, just in case I'm not, I did solve another annoyance- how to get mantano on Kindle Fire to link to dropbox. The culprit here was the silk browser, clicking accept on the allow this app to use dropbox always gave an error, but pasting that URL into a sideloaded chrome browser app instead, then clicking accept within chrome did the trick. |

I've got Mantano Reader Essentials on my Fire HDX. i first installed the free version from 1mobile.com. I took the .apk of the Essentials version from my Nook HD (which I had purchased from Google Play) and sent it over to Dropbox, and then exported it to my HDX's Downloads folder and installed it from there.

I put Moon+ Reader Pro on the HDX by buying it from the Amazon Appstore via my PC, installing it on my rooted Nook HD+. I used an apk ripper to get the .apk file, uploaded it to Drop Box, downloaded it to the HDX and installed it.

I don't understand the nature of the problem you are having from your description. I did have a 'please wait' after backing up a few pages, which I recovered from by using back button to go back to library and then re-opened the book. I haven't really used it very much as I've only had my HD6 for a few weeks. |
