At any rate, I'm glad you found a way around it, if not an obvious "eureka!" solution to the problem. Maybe it's just a random thing based on so few people having run into it through several different models and multiple firmwares. I like puzzles, but prefer solutions. But, sometimes I guess we get what we get. Almost makes me wonder if some releases don't actually replace all the files and that going from one version to another sometimes introduces incompatibilities between modules, governors, sleep code, etc., but it also seems to happen to a small sample who are merely following the accepted automatic upgrade path. Best of luck. |

Do you have auto-sync turned on or wireless enabled? I just realized that I have both turned off (which is different from my previous setup before I returned my old Aura) and when I turned wireless on to sync, I went from 92% down to 88% in just a few minutes. And the sync process still hadn't actually done anything!

I turned off wifi and automatic sync, and will be testing it tonight again... I really hope it's not depleted by tomorrow morning...

Anybody any news? The only way that the battery lasts is by turning it off completely after I finish reading. This is the only way I can read two or three days in a row.
