I frequently use a bookstand. Mostly when I'm eating but also when using the computer for a time consuming task such as burning data dvd's.

These Book chairs are not designed for Sony Reader specifically, but they might suit you.

Unfortunately the poll gives an either/or choice. Although I voted never, there is one exception when I always use a bookstand -- when I'm on my treadmill. Otherwise I find the Sony Reader easy to hold and use, so no need for a bookstand.
