I would think that at some point phones would need to be included. My phone's qHD 4.3" screen makes for a quite decent reader. It's my go-to device for reading. I don't think I've used my old Nook in over a year. And newer phones are even bigger and better.

Yes, phones should be included. I started reading ebooks on my pre-retina display iPhone. Now with retina screens and large screen phones...it's better than ever. It speaks to the change in reading from paper books to ebooks. I my own house, I was the early convert, then my wife. My three teenage daughter all prefer physical books.

When you can read any eBook on any eReader like you can on most tablets (Kindle Fire being the exception) then we might see a little more traction. As it is, I have read several books on my tablet because the cheapest format wasn't available for my Kindle 4NT.
