Too bad, I was going to look it up if my expensive cover didn't work as well as it should.

Why don't they make all Kindles have the sleep function when you open and close the cover? Maybe they have updated the Basic Kindle? All they need is a magnet and who knows what else. I can hope. i really like that feature.
