People can't see what you are reading, so you can read something most people think is complete and rubbish, like Forgotten Realms, and not be looked down on for it.

Hehe. Too true.

Still, the stack Forgotten Realms production writing has some absolute gems hidden in there, such as the first 6 Drizzt books (of which "The Dark Elf Trilogy" is the best of the two), and the Avatar Series.
