Thanks pulpmeister. I may have read the Koontz book. Sounds so familiar. I know I've read another book just like it. And yeah, I subscribe to that notion. (It's just harder to do with a thriller than with a suspense novel.) And you made "Angry Mountain" sound so good I'm going to check it out too. Thanks much.
