While googling info about Rick Hautala, I also found out that David B. Silva died a couple of weeks ago, too. Not a good month for the horror genre.

I did hear about David Silva dying, then James Herbert, and now Rick Hautala. Wow.

I read Silva's first novel when it was published in paperback. I remember - about 30 years later - enjoying it.
