Hello,

How does the return label look like? I only got customs invoice and the Waybill (see attachment). Is that enough? Thanks!

Yep, that it's, waybill goes in sticky sleeve on top of box and off the Iliad goes...

My iLiad is on it's way to Germany... I hope I get it back soon. I'm already having withdraws.

A new backplane and longer batter will be awesome though. I guess you have to take the bad with the good.

Got my email from iRex earlier this week ... but even though I did sign up for the replacement program and have a confirmation email - they are asking me to buy support credits for the replacement battery ... this is getting painful ...

My battery-replaced iLiad arrived today. Took about a week and a half.

Note that iRex did not send me any notice that they had received it, nor did I get a notice that they shipped it back.

So far, all seems well with it (it's charging up right now). I'll let you all know how much more battery life I get when I have time to actually use it.

Mine arrived yesterday. Seems to be OK, everything I sent away came back and there are no signs of damage.
I'll charge it, look for a good book and see whether I feel any difference.

Well, my new-battery iLiad has been on for 12 hours now and the battery indicator is down to about 1/3 left. So they've definitely extended battery life.

I've passed the 16 hour mark and there's still some power left.

So, for me, the battery replacement is a success. I can turn my iLiad on when I wake up, read it all day, then recharge it when I go to sleep.

Looks Like iRex support were a little confused - got an email reply stating they had made a mistake and that my replacement should be free (phew!) Now awaiting the shipping box ...

I pointed this out to IREX back in October of last year. They made NOtrue announcement of the offer and advertised it only via their forum and lately by their blog.

Unless you were reading them (or here) at the time there is little hope you would have known about the replacement offer. It is one of the many reasons I stopped using my iLiad and brought a PRS505.

My iLiad is back but w/o new paid back cover.
I got no explanation via e-mail or printend paper why this happend.
So I had to call iRex Support via phone.
They excused for this [...], promised [as I understood] that the others (I am not alone) will get e-mails.
Some spare parts [due high demand] are missing: attachment somehow for cover.

All the best! Hope you are not one of the those who get iLiad with old cover.

Yet another example of Irex's disdain for their customers.
