fever made me blind ... this is the result of md5sum (NiLuJe thanks for the code!)

but which are the 8 control codes calculated that do not match?

@zerolucat: Check the detailed output (or pipe it to grep with an adequate pattern for your locale).

this is the output... but now I see that the goto is not the only application that does not work

also wikipedia, translation and content error reports do not work
now how can I fix this?

there is no other solution? I encountered these problems for the first time when I removed the hack komic...

@zerolucat: If you haven't done so yet, a factory reset? (Keep track of which hacks will get cranky if you reset, though).

Actual, the entire contents of /usr/local/* has gone to the big bit bucket in the sky.

Just replacing that part of the filesystem tree from one of the de-brick images should fixup the machine.

Just be certain to test the files that you are going to use from the de-brick image against your audit list before moving them to the Kindle.

If none of the above makes any sense, then just follow the full de-brick instructions.

And once you are back to normal, you should probably update the /etc/shadow checksum line in your audit file to match the changed file (probably a password change).

...so the problem isn't in the local directory?
