Funny, it must be depending on the ebooks. I did a couple of dozen books with ABC and never ran into a problem.

Many .lit books I've seen are PDFs that are run through pdftohtml and then converted to .lit without any editing. So when you convert them back to html, it's still the awful output that pdftohtml created.

Assuming they are what I think they are, I'm pretty sure that posting them is a big No-No. I'd suggest rapidly removing them, or the mod's will be along pretty quickly to do so, no doubt with very stern words accompanying.
