You can cut a SIM into a microSIM, there are cutters that do the job (phone retailers may have them), or you can download a template and do it yourself.

What if you need to use it back in a regular cellphone. Still I think that is a disadvantage, not until all cellphones really start using it.

You can get an adapter to get it back to full size. Anyway, full size is gone and it won't be coming back.

I hate when companies trying to push new stuff when hardware is still alive

But I didn't know we can get an adapter. I may try that instead if cutting the whole thing.

Blame Nokia and Apple they where the big pusher of the new sim cards.

However I can't blame either company having their patented SIM card is a guaranteed source of income until the next standard prevails.

Also the new Sims are smaller which is important for the push for smaller and thinner devices

The change is good but in my opinion, too soon. Its similar to the one Apple did with Mac Mini and removing CD drive.
