I retract my earlier recommended hardware solution (microwave oven) after realizing that the critical IC components are shielded from RF energy in the wifi band, which is the same frequency as microwave ovens (which is why it is open to the public).

Finely divided iron and aluminium not available in your jurisdiction?

The bars of your cell are iron (based) and you can find aluminium (based) items in the kitchen. An edge of your stainless steel furniture can be used to create scrapings.
Always check with your Warden before trying this in your own cell block.
Outside of the jurisdiction of your typical prison compounds, the materials are not restricted.

Note: The iron and aluminum do not have to be finely divided if you have a hot enough flame to ignite the combination:

I guess will will need to do your own video for that (in gmplay format, of course).

Did you view any of the videos that I posted? I am disappointed by the comments on that thread not crossing my threshold of expectation. I feel underappreciated . The eink video results exceeded my expectations a lot, because only the FPV2 video has spatiotemporal smoothing applied to it. I like the "Safety Last" video. Even my simplistic video compression makes the videos 1/10th the size of the originals from archive.org (and other sources). Now we just need sound, and network streaming. Until I find a better conversion solution, I am using the "directory full of sequentially numbered TGA files" output method from mplayer. There MUST be a better way...
