That doesn't makes sense. The touch screen on the KT is not actually a touch screen, well not a pressure sensitive screen. It has infrared beams going across the screen. Putting your finger on the screen breaks one or more of the beams. What you are doing shouldn't help, or at least I can't think of why it would. But, as it obviously does help you, continue and leave me to be a little baffled

Well the KT sure was in a mood last night! Touch screen not working... Froze up a couple times, needed to power off and on. And seemed like it wouldn't power back up right away....

I find the lower corners to be very UNresponsive. My little trick wasn't so slick last night!

Seems to be a problem with some Kobos and 1.9.17 firmware.

I have the same problem. But if I touch the screen directly in the corner (so my finger touches the frame), it works.

The rest of the screen works very well, just not the lower right and left corner...
