Thank you Helen. I went to Future Shop and tried Sony T1. I like it a lot. I'm pretty sure I will be buying this one.

Thank you everybody for your help. Today, I've ordered Sony T1. Woo-hoo! Exciting life of unlimited digital reading about to begin!

I would like to share with you a bit of information that I just discovered: you can get Sony T1 for Air Miles points. It costs around 1650 points and not a penny more.

Hi everyone am new here. Just purchased a new Sony PRS-T1 yesterday, brand new, from Craigs List for $60 CDN. Works great and am very happy with it. Returned my FS purchase. It was $149.99 + tax.

That sounds a little suspicious to me? A new T1 for $60? Why would anyone sell at such a ridiculously low price? I'd be highly inclined to think that it's been stolen.

Could be stolen, but they were on sale for under $100 at least once (I think $89) and most stores keep them locked up under glass or have very noisy alarms.

I bought a demo 350 at Future Shop last year and the 3 sales guys were still trying to stop alarm 1/2 hour later and they were the ones who took it off the locking thingy.
