Last month I read a little over 1600 pages, but last year I read around 24000 pages. So on average I read 65 pages per day.

I tried to take a speed reading course in highschool but maxed their machine out the second week (it was a film strip projector affair that only went to 780 words per minute.) I intended to just work through the material anyway to inflate my gpa, but they caught on and made me take a logic course instead.

With PTSD, my reading speed has decreased drastically in recent years.

Sorry to hear about the PTSD. Glad you can still read, I have one friend who can't without agitation.

Old age has slowed me down, and stress is factor as well, but as long as I can read before I go to sleep, life is not too bad

I'm a slow reader, but e-reading in general has made me read more as in quantity. I read a lot on line as well as still reading paper reference books, the Bible, and stuff from my bookshelf.

I've been lucky then. Most of my books have page numbers. I think I only have a handful without. I wish they would fix those. It's a huge help to know where you are in a book. I have no idea what locations mean.

I think 15 locations per page is close enough. No two editions of the paper books I have looked at on Goodreads have the same number of pages. Different typefaces, different margins, different physical page sizes.
