Thinking back.......I kept downloading audio books until it failed because it was too full. Then I bought a memory chip and installed it.

I thought it would manage it's own memory.

So.... now that I can see it on my PC, can I just drag and drop stuff from internal to the chip?

Yeah, you can do that but depending on how programs are handling content, this may cause them to lose that content. But you definitely need to free up some space (I would recommend at least a gig) on the internal sd...you wouldn't expect your windows pc to run with a full primary disk, would you?

For example, Overdrive can be configured to use internal memory for storage, or the external microSD card. That can be changed in the Overdrive settings.

No, of course not. ideally, it should have been reserved primarily for the operating system. The good news is we have probably isolated the problem.

So..... in summary, I need to free up space on the primary drive in order to download a program which will allow me to free up space on the primary drive.

Thanks, guys. I nuked all the audio books, freeing up the primary drive.

See pic below.

I downloaded a couple of file managers. Next task is to figger out how to use them. If I need help........belay that........WHEN I need help, I'll start my own thread.
