Similar here, though when you live in a town where the "big automobile expedition" all the way across town barely measures 4 miles / 6.4km listening to anything in the car is somewhat pointless. I generally listen to audiobooks or story podcasts (more frequently the latter) while cooking, doing the dishes, etc. If I try to just listen I find it hard to not either be distracted or to not fall asleep.

I read (usually my Kindle though occasionally a paper book) in bed to wind down or at lunch when eating alone, dinner being generally shared with "she who must be obeyed" aka "my adorable wife".
