Yes that is indeed possible. And it can be done without their code, but it will use the same technique as theirs, so probably is in the same category as writing a decrypter WITHOUT using their code...

Hopefully it's only a question of time before an equally intelligent person also writes a decoding utility but lives in say Russia (or similar) where they don't give a damn about western intellectual property rights / laws.
