I treated myself to the M-Edge e-Luminator when it was on offer at Waterstones. Great light that has the added benefit of being usable on paper books as well as an Ereader if you can slip it between the case and reader.

That looks like a great light feenix1363, but it isn't sold where I live.
Furthermore, it can't be used without cover. Does anyone know any good lights that can be used without cover? Found this in another thread. Looks good. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Verso-Clip-O...1052848&sr=8-2 Last edited by Zeno_; 06-30-2012 at 06:41 AM. |

The Verso can be clipped directly onto the reader... And used with or without a case. It's available in Canada and the US as well.

I would never risk clipping a light directly onto the bezel of a T1. It's just not worth the risk.

I have my T1 in an mCover made for the kindle touch. It works well and is very light and small. I fold the front part of the cover all the way back and then clip my rechargeable book light by Great Point Light to the cover. It works beautifully and I only recharge it every few weeks. I bought it at Barnes and Noble during a sale for about $25.

Just wondered if anyone has tried plugging a USB light into the T1's port? I have a USB light which I'd like to try. I just need the adapter to go from full-size to micro USB.

I don't think you'll be very satisfied with the result... The usb is for charging the device, it will not provide any battery for the light. (I'm not totally sure, maybe someone can confirm, though) Besides, it's not a really great place to put a usb light

I don't intend to have the light at the bottom! My Belkin light has a retractable lead and a clip which could fasten to the top of a case. As no one seems to have tried it, I shall give it a go and let you know what happens. ![]() |
