You mentioned before that you could make a version for Norwegian ADLIBRIS. I would very much appreciate that. I've been looking for plugins fetching Norwegian metadata for some time now with no luck. Since you are not Scandinavian, I can probably help you if there are some language issues or something.

The language is not the main point, although any help is welcome.
To write a plugin is the first part, but to maintain the plugin is more difficult.
Because I dont use it mýself and therefore other users have to notify me of website changes or errors.
If you are willing tot test, I will try to make a test version.
Can you give me the title and an author , if possible one that is part of a serie.p.e. Jo Nesbo and the serie of Harry Hole.
The special characters in Norwegian will be an extra challenge for me

I will help you the way I can, test it for you in the beginning, and also regulary to secure that it stays updated. I use Calibre more or less all the time, and add new books probably more than once every month or so.

I understand that there will be issues with norwegian letters, æ, Æ, ø, Ø, å and Å. There should be no other special letters, but you will have some few works with ´over a letter, like

@Rayha: From working on a few metadata source plugins, there are a few examples I would want:

- Book with a single author not in a series
- Book with a two or more authors
- Book in a series with a series index
- Book in a series without a series index

From those examples, I would be confident I could construct the searches and parse the pages to get the metadata. For non-English sites, a link to the advanced search page is useful to see how the searches are constructed. They can usually be found, but it can take a bit of clicking.

Yes, this was what I was suggesting for the next point. The Harry Hole books had the series number. They will show how the number is shown in the page.

That list of books should be a good list of test cases.

That I wouldn't have thought of. I can see someone wanting other languages as well, but they might be better served by other sites.

I think something have changed on Adlibris homepage. The plugin isn't grabbing series and series number.

I tested with Den femte kvinnan from Henning Mankell and dit not noticed any problems.

This plugin does not work. It seems to be the same problem with ADLIBRIS_NO. I tried to fix the error myself but I do not have the knowledge.

The last version was dated from november 2014.
I have made an update due to some website changes of adlibris.
Version 2.4 available , also at the start of this topic.

Something is changed on Adlibris page again. I'm no so skilled in Python, so I can't fix it myself. Can you please see if there is anything you can do?
