Well the only 2011 film I have seen is latest Muppet movie. Our local Friends of the Library sponsored a 10:00 am showing for the local 5-10 year old school crowd in conjunction with the local theater yesterday. One nice thing about a small town; all the local businesses really try to be a part of the community. So as always with the Muppets an enjoyable time was had by all ages. Then I am foremost an ecologist or green and secondarily a anarcho-communist so I did not mind the secret political agenda imbedded in the film.

Note to self after reading the other entries: Borrow DVD of True Grit; Jeff Bridges, right? The Dude does John Wayne.

So far my top are Super 8, Shame, and Submarine.

I also enjoyed:
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
Thor
Drive
50/50
Win Win
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Melancholia

I really want to see Hugo, The Artist, and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy though.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes was awesome, way better than the old ones.
