Netflix and red box is still very cheap compared to cable, a business everybody wants to disrupt but no one seems able to do . I've seen various schemes to cut the cord, but they all look rather unsatisfactory even to a geek like me.

It took about 3 weeks, but tonight the Redbox had "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" for $1.20.

Good movie. There were some continuity flaws of course. Also I will certainly look at the Redwood Forest in a different manner from now on...
