a) they wanted to make a sale b) they don't really care what you do to demos; they can be restored easily. Some idiot, though, had set up the gmail for their personal email (use the web browser - no settings and you can clear cookies and history) and left it on there - I just sent that person an invite to the appstore app (it comes from amazon, no identifying info). I even installed a couple of apps I wanted to use, tested them, then deleted them (and the appstore and cleared cookies & history after logging in to amazon and removing the device from my "dev list" in the android store. The tablet is fine - not one I want to do a lot of typing with, especially on some web sites, as they keep refreshing and it's nearly impossible to type. Android itself is a bit of an issue, for me, since keyboard shortcuts are missing or inconsistent (and there's a lock button where DELETE should be on the keyboard). |

Android takes some getting use to but I can type just fine on the keyboard now. Typing a blog post though makes my fingers ache. If I am in a hurry I will just use the Voice key. It's much faster! ![]() |

Correct. It is no longer linked to your account. If you open the app on that device, it prompts you to log into your Amazon account before it lets you do anything else (no autofill, either).
