4 days x 6 hours = 24 hours. If you use dictionary often it is multiplies by 4-5.

Try to restart the Kindle.

Thanks Blossom and enkov. Yesterday my kindle's screen decided to stop responding and even though I can still use usb to transfer files but the screen is stuck. Resetting seems to do fine, only nothing happens on the screen (stuck with the screensaver), I think e-ink screen is dead. However Amazon accepted to send the replacement in 1 week. Let's see if I have better luck this time.

I had a feeling it was on it way out with what you described. It happens unfortunately. Good luck with your replacement. Kindle support is great!

my battery finished today
i charged last in 27th november
it means i used kindle about 18 days
now i can say that the problem is in indexing...

and i read 15 books in this 18 days
and i use dictionary a lot...
