Yep there is! When you have TTS enabled click the Font menu button. There is an option to change it there.

Thanks! one thing I noticed on a book I brought from the store is like one of the first few pages the text did not look to be formatted right, like it was all centered.. I'd have to check to see if its the same way on the phone because I did play with the font size and font type.. however having just said that does each book get it's own font setting or does that one change go for all the books?

I can't wait for the covers to go on sale!

It's one setting for all books. There is a plugin for Calibre that will let you customize the margins, add a custom font and a few other internal settings. You will find many Kindle books specially self published ones are horribly formatted.

had I known the chapters were going to be spaced like that I would of passed on it..

playing with the line spacing and font size has made it better but pretty much all the text is center spaced.

So should I be worried on anymore so called "kindle edition" ebooks?

i've never seen any books like that from amazon, but you can easily get a refund, just call kindle customer (use kindle customer support to do so) service and lodge a complaint, they'll reverse the charge.

i downloaded the sample and got so much junk at the beginning (like a multi-page table of contents that had no links) that it didn't include even the beginning of the first chapter. what a piece of junk!!!

and the weird thing is violin for dummies almost starts the same way as this book but it's better formatted.. I'm reading the sample now.

I think I will ask for a refund.. Also I noticed the samples seem longer on the kindle device it's self then the app on my phone.. maybe it's just me.

Looks like someone trying to sell books solely based on the cover. Wow, $10 bucks for that crap.

You can view the sample first if you not familiar with the publisher.
Make sure to get a refund that book is horrible!

the odd thing was I looked at a sample on my phone like a week before I got the kindle but most of the sample was taken up with like 5 pages of the contents of the book so when I finally did buy it and got to the chapters it sucks..

a hint to stay away from low priced books?

nope, $9.99 isn't low priced and i've a lot of books that are just fine and were lower priced than $9.99
